Tour Description:
India is the 7th largest country and the 2nd most populated. It borders Pakistan to the west, China, Nepal and Bhutan on the north east, whilst Bangladesh and Burma are to the east. India was gradually annexed by the British East India Company from the early eighteenth century and colonised by the UK from the mid-nineteenth century, India became a modern nation state in 1947 after a struggle for independence.
Pench NP
Pench NP is best known for it's rich flora and fauna and it's Tigers. This park was the great inspiration for Rudyard Kipling, covering and area of 760 km.
Kanha NP
Kanha NP holds around some 110 Tigers, this will give us lots of oppourtunities to find and photograph the elusive Tiger.
Bandhavgarh NP
This park was formerly a royal hunting reserve and covers some 450 km. This park has the best wildlife viewing that India has to offer.
Mammals to be found in these parks are, (to name a few).
Tigers, Leopards, Jungle Cat, Sloth Bear, Wild Dog, Chital, Sambar, Nilgai, Blackbuck, Wild Boar, Rhesus and Langur Monkeys and over 250 species of birds.
